An easy, pleasing dessert using a can of cherry pie filling, and we all know how yummy that is, no matter how it is served! Your family or guests will love it! It’s an old ‘stand-by.’ Light and fluffy.
- 1 Pkg. cherry jello
- ½ cup boiling water
- 1 can cherry pie filling
- 2 egg whites
- ¼ tsp. cream of tartar
- ¼ cup sugar
- One container whipped topping
Pour water over jello in large bowl. Stir. Mix in pie filling, chill until jelly-like.
Beat egg whites with cream of tartar until foamy. Grad add sugar and beat until stiff. Fold into jello mixt. Chill until firm. Fold in whipped topping .
